Pallet Delivery Information: Deliveries are made through a national pallet network, and all products arrive on a non‑returnable wooden pallet. Delivery normally takes place during standard courier operating hours, but exact times cannot be guaranteed.
Drivers will usually try to call ahead, so please ensure we have a valid phone number.
Delivery Access
As part of our pallet delivery information, please note that we can guarantee kerbside delivery only. Drivers will always try to get as close as access allows, but please note:
- Pallets cannot be moved over gravel, grass, uneven ground, or steep inclines.
- Pump trucks require firm, level ground and cannot climb kerbs.
- We cannot move materials to rear gardens or up paths.
- Access must be suitable for a delivery vehicle without risk of damage.
If you’re unsure about access, feel free to contact us before ordering.
Vehicle Types
Depending on your location and order size, your delivery may arrive on a 7.5‑tonne, 18‑tonne, or articulated vehicle. Multiple pallets may arrive separately or on different days.
Dispatch & Redelivery
Orders are typically dispatched a few working days before delivery. If you need to reschedule, please give us at least 24 hours’ notice.
Unplanned redeliveries are charged at £30 per pallet.
If an order is returned once in transit, transport costs will be deducted from your refund (approx. £40 + VAT per pallet each way; higher charges may apply for Scotland & Wales).
Returned goods must be in their original condition and accessible for pallet collection.
Delivery Delays
While delays are rare, they can happen. Devon Bark cannot be held responsible for costs arising from delayed deliveries.
